He pioneered “Freight Tech” by being the first to offer a comprehensive shipping marketplace and booking platform. The solution was housed on a website and the first to allow anyone access to sea freight rates around the globe. China Sea Rates group www.chinasearates.com was the first. This was before the term SaaS was even mentioned.

He then took the solution a step further to be the first to offer a full API (Application Programming Interface) for international sea freight to e-commerce technology firms globally.
